Marriott Bonvoy cuts conversion bonus for another airline
Last month Marriott Bonvoy removed the 5,000 mile bonus for converting points to miles for three airlines (American, Avianca & Delta) and now a fourth airline following suit. That airline program is Korean Air SKYPASS and November 30 will be the last day you can earn the 5,000 mile bonus when converting 60,000 or more Marriott Bonvoy points. rom that point on you’ll only receive the standard 3 to 1 ratio for your conversions.

Scotiabank increases welcome bonus for banking packages
Scotiabank has bumped up the welcome bonus offer on their Ultimate and Preferred Banking packages to $350 from $300. The promotional savings account interest rate for the first five months has also been bumped up to 4.5% and 4.4% respectively. You can also earn Scene+ points with these accounts.
