The bonus is awarded as 20,000 Aventura Points when the first purchase is made, 10,000 Aventura Points on first purchase within first 4 months and 40,000 Aventura Points when you spend $35,000 or more during the first year. The initial bonus points have minimum of $700 but to get the whole bonus you need to pay the $120 annual fee in the second year so the minimum value works out to $580
