NEXUS airport enrolment centres to reopen soon!

The CBSA announced that the reopening of NEXUS airport ernolment centres will take place over the next month! Travellers can now book their interviews from the following start dates:

  • March 27
    • Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ)
    • Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG)
  • April 3
    • Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
  • April 12
    • Calgary International Airport (YYC)
    • Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
  • April 17
    • Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
  • April 24
    • Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
    • Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW)

A reminder that you now have multiple options for completing your interviews with the Canadian CBSA and U.S. CBP:

  1. A joint U.S. – Canada interview at a land enrolment centre (14 locations) in the U.S.
  2. A split interview at a Canadian land enrolment centre (2 locations) followed by an interview at a U.S. land enrolment centre (Canadian interview is conducted at the Canadian enrolment centre and the U.S. interview completed at the corresponding U.S. enrolment centre located just across the border at the port of entry).
  3. A two-step interview at a Canadian airport enrolment centre (8 locations), followed by an interview at a U.S. preclearance location in a Canadian airport.

JAL Japan Airlines adds new top end elite status tier

JAL Japan Airlines have introduced a new top level elite status tier called Diamond Metal. This new tier officially launches in April and requires the Mileage Bank member to earn 150,000 FLY ON Points on JAL Group flights or 180 JAL Group Flights + 50,000 FLY ON Points. This new top tier provides all the same benefits as the Diamond level plus a metal card, bonus miles, waiver of ticket service fees, a dedicated reservation line and confirmed reservations on select domestic routes in Japan.
