An update for our series on New Hotel Openings in Canada to bring you. This one comes to us from Hyatt who have now published the World of Hyatt Category for the new Hyatt Centric Ville-Marie Montreal.
The hotel will open later this year as a Category 3 hotel which means
it will require 12,000 points for a standard award night, 9,000 for Off
Peak and 15,000 for Peak. With only three hotels opening in Canada this
year we now have the complete picture of the categories as one is a

A couple of more confirmed American Express Cobalt Card Multipliers. These come to us from Mike who let us know of
these two merchants in Jordan that code as 5x points on the card. These
two merchants are found throughout the Middle East (and Carrefour is in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America as well) so
they should also code as 5x in those other locations

Air Canada will be donating $10 for every booking made on aircanada.com to
support Ukraine relief aid, with a total donation of up to $250,000.
This $250,000 donation will complement the $170,000 contribution
recently made by Air Canada’s employees and the Air Canada Foundation to
the Canadian Red Cross and other charities, as well as the ongoing
humanitarian aid destined to Poland and Ukraine transported through Air
Canada Cargo.
In addition, Aeroplan Members can donate Aeroplan points at Ukrainian Relief Fund,
with 100% of points to be redistributed to various charitable
organizations supporting relief efforts for Ukrainian refugees as well
as providing critical aid to those in need.
