Flair Airlines announced that starting this October the airline will fly between 8 Canadian cities
and 6 U.S destinations: Fort Lauderdale, Orlando-Sanford,
Phoenix-Mesa, Hollywood-Burbank, Palm Springs and Las Vegas (Source Flair Airlines)
Halifax, Montreal, Kitchener–Waterloo, Toronto, Vancouver,Calgary, Ottawa and Abbotsford will receive service to a variety of the U.S cities tarting this October.The ultra–low fares will start between $79 to $109CAD one–way
As Flair Airlines is an Ultra Low Cost Carrier they don’t have their
own loyalty program but flights on Flair are perfect for those any
airline any time proprietary credit card programs. Programs like HSBC Rewards, Scotia Rewards and Amex’s Membership Rewards
will let you book and pay for flights on your respective credit card
and as soon as that charge shows up you redeem your points towards it!
Easy as that and since Flair tends to have such low fares those
aforementioned programs as some of your best bets since you don’t have
to redeem a set amount of points like seen in the RBC Avion and CIBC
Aventura programs.

Here’s a mid-year update on the new Marriott Hotel openings in Canada. We now know the TownePlace Suites West Kelowna
is a Category 4 hotel and it just opened its doors on July 7. Meanwhile
four of the hotels on the list of new hotels have had their openings
pushed back further. The W Toronto is now set to open on December 1 and the Muir, an Autograph Collection Hotel Halifax is also set to open in December, the Delta Hotels Grande Prairie Airport Grande Prairie Alberta is slated for August 15th now while the The Pearle Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection Burlington Ontario has been pushed back to September 3.
