We’ve been providing coverage of the Humaniti Hotel Montreal, Autograph Collection over several posts since February as it is one of the most anticipated Marriott openings in Canada this year. Last time we checked the hotel was scheduled to open on June 10 and at that time we saw prices running in the high $600 to low $700 per night range. Well we just learned the hotel will now be opening on June 1st (yay! 9 days early) and not only that, they have dropped the nightly rates by a pretty penny! You can stay at the hotel on opening night for only $195+tax (about $37 in taxes and fees). That’s a huge difference over those high rates we saw in early April when we posted about the grand opening 2,000 bonus points offer.

Speaking of that bonus points special – don’t even concern yourself if you want to stay here in June. The reason being is that the hotel is offering an awesome opening rate special for the month of June of $195 per night for members, $199 for non-members. The bonus points rate is $299! There’s no way you should pay $100 more for 2,000 points. The June opening rate special isn’t advertised under the offers tab for the hotel but it does show up when you search for rates. Simply search for any night during June and then click on the Deals & Packages tab:
And you’ll be presented with a bunch of the rates including the bonus points rate:
In that list you’ll also see a Staycation rate – that’s what you’ll want to book after June as that rate is good from June 10 to August 31. The great thing about both the opening rate and staycation special rates is that they can be cancelled up to 1 day prior to arrival.
It’s great to see this hotel opening up early, it should be an awesome place for a staycation for those in the Montreal region as restrictions start to ease later this week and into June. The hotel’s spa and pool are set to open on June 8 so you may want to take that into account as well if you want to try those out!
Finally remember to pay for your stay with the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card so that you can earn 5 Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar spent!
