Strike averted! WestJet and its pilots reach a tentative agreement

That was close! Roughly four hours before WestJet pilots were set to walk off the job and be locked out their union and the airline announced a tentative agreement. However even though an agreement was reached WestJet had already begun cancelling some flights and there are some that will not operate today and over the coming days. If you have flights booked for this weekend I would recommend checking the status online to see if they will be operating.

Four additional Cobalt Card multiplier locations

A few more confirmed American Express Cobalt Card Multipliers thanks to Dejan, Moe and ourselves. Moe also asks if our readers can confirm if other Adonis Supermarkets are 5x points as the one he shops at is.

Here’s a tip for buying liquor in the Calgary area – some liquor stores are 5x points like Ace Liquor Discounter and grocery store liquor stores like Safeway, Sobeys and Co-Op. Still it’s good to know others that accept Amex in general like the one listed above.
