An update on the new Marriott Hotels opening in Canada for 2023

We completed an update to our Marriott Hotels & Resorts New Hotel Openings in Canada for 2023 post. The following hotel opening dates and booking links have been updated:

Three big takeaways here from the is update. The first is the now earlier opening of the highlight hotel of the year for Marriott. The HONEYROSE Hotel, Montreal, a Tribute Portfolio Hotelis now accepting reservations for stays starting in exactly one month! This almost two months earlier than planned.

The next is the addition of one more hotel bringing this year’s opening to 12 locations from 11 and that is the Four Points by Sheraton in Pentiction B.C.. This hotel wasn’t on our list nor did Marriott even show it when we first published the post.

And finally it looks like the Moxy Banff may regain the title of being the first Moxy Hotel to open in Canada. Over the past few years the title has flip flopped between the Moxy Banff and Moxy Halifax, with the latter recently staking the claim. However, it now appears the Banff location will open in September which will be one month before the slated opening of the Halifax location.

National Bank World Elite Mastercard Review in French!
