Air Canada announced today they will be launching new non-stop flights between Vancouver and Dubai. This is the latest in route updates over the past week and half after Canada and the UAE expanded the air services agreement between the two countries. First we had Emirates announce their Toronto to Dubai flights moving to daily service, Etihad Airways followed suit with their Toronto to Abu Dhabi flights also expanding to daily service and now we have Air Canada announcing this brand new route.
The Vancouver to Dubai Flight
Air Canada will officially launch the new non stop route between Vancouver and Dubai on October 28, 2023. It will operate four times weekly with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This complements the airline’s daily service between Toronto and Dubai and provides for easy connection opportunities from Western Canada and the U.S..

Air Canada is the first airline to now offer flights to the Middle East from Western Canada with this new Vancouver to Dubai route. With four times weekly service it should prove to be popular as it will provide easy connections with Air Canada’s partner Emirates to destinations across Asia, the Indian Ocean and more.
