June 10 Update: American Airlines extending pause on AAdvantage miles expiry & save 20% on Shangri-La Hotel stays in Toronto and Vancouver

 Here’s your Rewards Canada Daily update! Your daily dose (or near

American Airlines has further extended their pause for expiring AAdvantage miles. Miles will now be current until December 31, 2021. Learn more here.

2021, they will now expire in January 2022, if there’s no additional
activity in your account before then. You can find the expiration date
of your miles in the Wallet section of your AAdvantage® account.”

Shangri-La Hotels are offering 20% off stays at
their two Canadian locations in Toronto and Vancouver. The 20% discount
is good on all rooms and suites. You simply need to be a member of their
Golden Circle program (free to join) to get the discount. If you have
the Platinum Card from American Express
hopefully you remembered to register for Golden Circle Jade Status
before the benefit ended in March. Book by September 30 for stays until
