Hotels.com has finally provided a COVID-19 update
for Hotels.com Rewards members. We did have news quite some time ago
that reward nights would be extended and this news confirms it along
with elite status extension and an extended qualifying window as well. Find out more here.

We have paused the expiration of any collected nights or reward1 nights due to expire between 1 Apr 2020 and 31 Dec 2020.
We’ll extend all Gold and Silver memberships that are up for renewal between 1 Feb 2020 – 31 Jan 2021 for an additional year.
Plus, we’re giving you more time to qualify for Gold or Silver
membership. We’ll assess nights stayed in the previous 24 months to see
whether you qualify for the next level of membership by your new
renewal date.
Speaking of hotels – we keep seeing hotel occupancy rates increase in
Canada albeit by very small numbers – it was 12% a few weeks ago then
15% and the latest report shows 16.6% for the week of April 26 – May 2.

One more Mastercard Foodora update – Mastercard
Canada has now confirmed on their site that May 11 is the last day as we
had reported. They also have specifically noted the benefit ends on
that day so it can’t be utilized for Foodora outside of Canada. Find out more here.
