Earn double points on Amex card referrals

Thanks to RWRDS Canada contributor Jeff W for letting us know that Amex’s Referral Month has returned for October! Cardmembers who refer a friend using their personal referral link can earn double the standard offer with each approved referral. The following Cards are eligible:

New increased bonus on the Tims Credit Card

The new Tims Credit Card has a new increased welcome bonus offer of up to 10,000 Tims Rewards points. This is double the number of points that has been on offer since the card launched earlier this year. The good news is that according to CalgaryBen on RFD this bonus is being awarded retroactively to those who already have the card. Welcome bonus awarded as follows:

  • 4,000 points when you make a purchase within the first 30 days of opening the card
  • 2,000 points when you spend $200 in month two
  • 2,000 points when you spend $200 in month three
  • 2,000 points when you spend $200 in month four

Three new Amex Offers for Instacart, Estee Lauder & lululemon

Amex Offers

In addition to the Shop Small offer that came out today for Amex Business Cards there were three new offers out on personal consumer cards:.

Instacart
Earn one (1) $10 statement credit for each month in which you make a qualifying purchase of at least $10 in a single transaction using your registered Card online at www.instacart.ca or in the Instacart app in Canada until 31/12/2024. Earn a maximum of $150 in statement credits within a 15-month period. Terms apply.

Estee Lauder
Spend at least $85 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card at www.esteelauder.ca/ by 30/12/2023 and earn a one-time $15 statement credit. Terms apply.

lululemon
Spend at least $100 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card at https://shop.lululemon.com/en-ca/ or on the lululemon app by 31/01/2024 and earn a one-time $20 statement credit. Registration cap applies. Terms apply.

Personally I received the Instacart and Estee Lauder offers on The Platinum Card from American Express while the lululemon offer came on the American Express Cobalt Card but you may receive them on different cards. The Estee Lauder offer is also available to holders of Scotiabank American Express Cards who simply need to register for the offer here.
