American Express no longer accepting new applications for AIR MILES co-brand cards
If you have visited the American Express or AIR MILES pages on the Rewards Canada website you may have noticed that all of the Amex AIR MILES co-brand cards are no longer posted on our site. At the request of American Express we removed the cards last week and if you visit the American Express website you may have noticed that as of April 10th the cards were also pulled from the Amex Canada site. Existing AIR MILES cardmembers will continue to be serviced but the question remains as to how long and if the American Express and AIR MILES relationship is fully dissolved, will those cardmembers be transferred to another card?
This is the official statement from American Express:
Acquisition offers for American Express AIR MILES products are currently not available. We offer a number of alternative American Express products which provide access to a variety of benefits and services
