WestJet adding more flights from Winnipeg including a new route to Nashville

WestJet will be expanding their services out of Winnipeg in the coming months. The airline is moving the non-stop route to Montreal from summer seasonal to year round service. Flights to Ottawa will be increased to daily service and they are introducing a new twice weekly service to Nashville. The Nashville route will only run from September to November (is there something going on in Nashville at that time?) but WestJet will look at expanding it if it does well. The new PetSmart Treats Rewards is here

Catching up on this from last week as the revamped PetSmart Treats Rewards launched on April 2. Bucking the trend of most loyalty programs, PetSmart Treats Rewards was actually made better with the addition of elite tiers, additional benefits and more. Click here to read our post about all the changes to the program.

Upon the launch of the revamped program, every PetSmart Treats Rewards member received a boost to their points account to match the new redemption rate and thus keep the value in their points.

And if you spent enough during the past year you’ll have received your elite status as well. As I am a frequent PetSmart shopper for our two beloved felines, I have received the highest status level of VIPP (Very Important Pet Parent)

They also have an elite status tracker in your online account where you can see your progress to the next status tier or for retaining status.

I’m looking forward to earning a 2.8% return on all my purchases at PetSmart (10 points per $ + the tier bonus of 4 points per $) in addition to all the other amazing bonus points offers they run. They just had 10x points last week to celebrate the launch of the revamped program and they do offer that big of bonus a few times per year so keep an eye out for it!
