The free Red by Dufry Status Match
Elite members of Air Canada Aeroplan and WestJet Rewards, plus a whole host of other airline and hotel loyalty programs can request a free status match to the Platinum Elite level in the Red by Dufry program. All elite status levels of the accepted airline programs are eligible for this match while all but the lowest level of status in the eligible hotel programs can also request a match. This means that even the free Marriott Gold and Hilton Gold status that is provided on the Platinum Card from American Express will count towards this match.
Once matched the Red by Dufry Platinum Elite level provides a 10% discount on select products at participating Dufry retail locations.
