Hilton Honors is now offering bonus points for stays at their new hotels. They are jumping into the ring with the likes of Hyatt and Radisson Hotels Worldwide who have new hotel bonuses in place. To be honest Hilton has offered bonuses for stays at their new hotels in the past but those were few and far between and I don’t recall a promoted landing page for the new hotel bonus as this can now be found on Hilton’s offers page.
That being said, the landing page that Hilton has published doesn’t provide any details on which hotels you can earn the bonus at nor when you can earn the bonus! I am guessing the dates will be listed on the individual hotel’s offer page as I did find the offer listed for the soon to be opening Tru by Hilton Toronto West with a button to view available dates. I did click the button and try to search but no dates came up at all in the first five months after their planned March 2023 opening.
I have feeling that even though this is now promoted on the Hilton site it has not yet been fully implemented. I searched about a half dozen hotels that show a ‘New’ symbol and all of them came stated the rate was unavailable. The only other guess I have is that there may not be a specific rate attached to the bonus and will be awarded on any eligible stay just as Hyatt does. Again though it would be good to know where and when you can earn the bonus!
I will be reaching out to Hilton to see if they can give us more details about the new hotel bonus offer and if they will update the landing page to provide the actual hotels and dates!
