Now open: Refreshed Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at LAX
Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has reopened after being enlarged and refreshed!
The revamped lounge features an additional 250sqft of space, power outlets at every seat, modernized productivity-style seating and communal tables. These improvements will give guests more space work, dine or unwind before take-off, while ensuring glowing-hearted hospitality provided by Air Canada continues

The LAX lounge refresh is part of Air Canada’s overall lounge modernization and expansion initiative which will see even more lounges being updated and expanded not to mention there are hint of new lounges as well.
I compared the photos of the LAX lounge that were supplied by Air Canada to our old review of the lounge from 2018 and for the most part it appears that outside of the small enlargement of the lounge, most of the update has been to the furniture in the lounge.

AIR MILES multiple partner bonus set to return on December 4
AIR MILES will once again be offering bonus miles for earning miles from multiple partners during the first half of December. I really do like how AIR MILES is starting to provide advance notice of their promotions as it allows collectors to make decisions with the program that surround their own shopping habits.
The bonuses will be awarded as follows
- Earn at least 1 Reward Mile at: 3 partners = 100 Bonus Miles
- 4 partners = 250 Bonus Miles
- 5+ partners = 775 Bonus Miles.
- Redeeming Miles counts as shopping one partner!*
It’s cool that they have added a redemption angle to the bonus as well! The standard terms for eligible partners continue witht this offer as those are in-store, airmilesshops.ca, AIR MILES® Receipts, airmilescardlink.ca or travel.airmiles.ca.
This offer runs from December 4 to December 18, 2024 and requires opt-in. Opt-in is already available on the AIR MILES Website and app.
