Get 600 bonus Stars for linking a TD card to Starbucks Rewards
TD and Starbucks have brought out a new offer for getting their members to link accounts. Holders of eligible TD Credit Cards or TD Access Card with Visa* Debit Cards who link to their Starbucks Rewards account for the first will receive 600 bonus Starbuck Stars. It seems like no purchase is even required to get the bonus!
And if you are a new Starbucks Rewards members and make an eligible purchase in the first 7 days after linking you should get the first purchase bonus of 200 Stars for a total of 800 Stars. This offer is available until August 31, 2025.

To earn 600 bonus Starbucks Stars (“Bonus Stars”), during the Offer Period an Eligible Cardholder must link their Eligible TD Card Account to their Starbucks Reward Account in My TD Rewards. For linking and additional terms and conditions that apply, visit td.com/starbucksoffer. You will not be eligible to earn, and you will not be awarded, these Bonus Stars if: (i) your Eligible TD Card Account is currently, or has previously been, linked to a Starbucks Rewards Account; or (ii) you have previously received bonus Stars in connection with linking an Eligible TD Card Account to a Starbucks Rewards Account.

American Express will open a Centurion Lounge in Amsterdam in 2026
Great news for those travelling to or via Amsterdam in 2026! American Express has announced their new Centurion Lounge will be in AMS! Amsterdam is a popular destination and connecting point for Canadians so to be able get another lounge to acces with the Canadian Platinum Card from American Express is welcome news.
The space will feature a Dutch-inspired design that celebrates Amsterdam’s local culture and heritage with work from local artists, floor-to-ceiling windows offering an abundance of natural light, and locally inspired food and beverage menus. The newly constructed lounge is expected to open between Concourse E and F in 2026.
At nearly 6,000 square feet, the Lounge design features a rich palette of blues, greens and earth tones that evokes Amsterdam’s famous waterways and tranquility, while the lines, proportion and repetition represent the iconic canal houses of the city.
A coffee bar will pay homage to the drink’s importance in Dutch culture as a ritual to unwind and connect with one another, contributing to the Lounge’s overall feeling of “gezellig” – a local phrase to describe a comforting, pleasant and convivial atmosphere.
Canadian Platinum Cardmembers are lucky in that we get better access to Centurion Lounges than our U.S. counterparts. When you have the Platinum Card from American Express (The Canadian consumer and/or business version) you and 2 Guests get entry to Centurion Lounges. And the benefit applies to both primary and additional Platinum cardmembers!
Now, the question we always ask when there is Centurion lounge news is: when will we see the first Centurion Lounge in Canada? Well, more likely I should be asking when will we see it in Toronto 😉
