RBC extends the inactivity rule for the Avion Select program
RBC has made a positive change to the relatively new Avion Select level of Avion Rewards by extending their inactivity rule:
We want to let you know that we’re updating our Terms & Conditions for Avion Select to increase the inactivity period on your account from 24 months to five years, effective on or after April 11, 2025.
This is welcome news as there are not many opportunities to earn a lot of points for Avion Select members and those that do come up are relatively small points amounts. But that doesn’t really matter so long as you are active in the program given this is an inactivity rule not an expiry rule and now you only have to meet their activity rule once every five years to keep your points and cash back!

BermudAir launching flights between Montreal and Bermuda
BermudAir, the relatively young Bermuda based airline that started flying to Halifax and Toronto in 2024 will be adding Montreal to their route map for 2025.
The airline will launch 2x weekly service on June 12, 2025 with the following schedule:
YUL-BDA Thu, Sun 10:55 – 14:30
BDA-YUL Thu, Sun 08:00 – 09:55
BermudAir does not have a frequent flyer program nor does it partner with any other FFPs. Earning points and miles is limited to what you can earn on your credit card that you use for payment. The only option for using points and miles for BermudAir flights is to use a credit card rewards program that has an Any Travel Anytime redemption option. These include the American Express Cobalt Card and Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card.
