November 14 tally: 70,969 points of 50,000 points
Thank you to everyone who has donated points and miles to RWRDS Canada’s Flight Hero campaign for Give A Mile! Our goal was to raise 50,000 points and today we passed 70,000 points! As promised, RWRDS Canada has matched 25,000 points of donations to bring us to 70,969 points!
But we don’t have to stop there! This campaign runs until January 1st and Give A Mile has a goal to raise enough points, miles and cash to provide 52 flights of compassion. That’s over 3 Million points (or equivalent) they are hoping to raise so if you have not donated yet you still have the opportunitiy to do so!
Why don’t we make a new goal of reaching 100,000 points for our campaign? I know you can all help out in doing so!

Time to load your weekly shopping bonus offers!
It’s Thursday! So you know what that means! Time to check and load all your personalized shopping offers.
Scene+
The Scene+ Grocery 3x Basket Bonus at Sobeys and Safeway continue this week – 500 bonus points for $50 spend and they can each be earned up to 3 times over the course of three weeks until November 20.
The personalized offers were pretty much for items I bought over the past few days so unlikely I’ll be needing them right away here to earn more points. They really should work on the timing of these offers to coincide with when a member would likely be running out of them and needing to buy them again.
And don’t forget to use your Scene+ earning credit card for your purchases to earn even more points, namely the Scotiabank Gold American Express Card which earns an amazing 6 points per dollar (a 6% return) at Sobeys, Safeway, IGA and other Empire grocery stores.
AIR MILES
The AIR MILES Receipts offers for this week continue to be somewhat thinned out but I may get in on the eggs and green onion bonuses.

Moi Rewards
It appears there are no general Moi Rewards offers this week. Be sure to check the app and flyer for product bonuses and personalized offers.
More Rewards
More Rewards is offering 2x Points on each $1 of qualifying purchases with no minimum spend required until Nov 20, 2024. They also have some personalized offers available.
PC Optimum
They have a new gift card offer available this week where you can earn 5,000 bonus points for every $50 bought of Apple Gift Cards with a maximum of $500 per single transaction. Warning: don’t go hog wild on these even though the gift card offer terms makes it seem unlimited, the terms of and conditions of the program of purchases in excess of what a single family household should be spending, can get you in trouble and we have had members reach out to us who been placed into PC Optimum Points Purgatory for doing so. So proceed with caution.
There will also be a 20x bonus points (25x for PC Financial credit card holders) offer launching at Shoppers Drug Mart starting on Friday November 15. This is valid on purchases of $90 or more and excludes gaming consoles.
Real Canadian Liquorstores also have a bonus points offers of 8,000 points for every $40 spent.
