A week ago today Air France flew the inaugural flight to their fourth city in Canada, Quebec City. To celebrate this new route they are now offering triple Flying Blue Miles to anywhere Air France flies as long as you depart from or arrive at Quebec City! The new route to Paris operates 3x weekly and you can earn the bonus if you book by June 24 for travel until August 24, 2022. As an additional bonus if you happen to fly by June 30 you will also earn 50% Bonus Flying Blue XP elite status credits to accelerate your way to status!
The bonus is awarded in all cabins and since Air France KLM’s Flying Blue which means with the bonus you should earn 12 Flying Blue Miles per EUR spent on your flights. Recommended cards to pay for your Air France KLM flights
Rewards Canada recommends using an American Express Card with a travel accelerator for purchasing your Air France KLM flights. Those cards are as follows:
- American Express Cobalt® Card: 2 points per dollar spent on travel
- American Express® Gold Rewards Card: 2 points per dollar spent on travel
- The
Platinum Card®: 2 points per dollar spent on travel
There are several reasons why we recommend these cards, first is the value and flexibility of those points are second to none and second, you can convert them to Air France KLM Flying Blue Miles. American Express Membership Rewards points convert to Air France KLM Flying Blue at a 1 to .75 ratio which means you would be earning 1.5 Flying Blue Miles per dollar spent on Air France KLM flights with any those three cards listed above.
