Here’s your Rewards Canada Daily update! Your near daily dose of
loyalty program, credit card and travel news, bonuses, deals and more.

is currently offering a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 bonus points
worth $500, has no foreign transaction fees and no annual fee in the

Even with travel starting to make a comeback American Express
is being proactive and putting their customers needs at the top of the
list again! I received an email from them last week stating they will be
further extend, well, rather issue a replacement $200 annual travel credit for Platinum Cardmembers who may have any of these credits that are set to expire between January 1 and June 30, 2022. If you recall they did this last year as well (If you don’t recall, read about it here) So a big thank you to Amex!

We understand you may not have had or will not have an opportunity to
use your Annual Travel Credit(s) before it expires. We will be
proactively issuing you a replacement credit(s) if it has expired or is
set to expire between January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022,
and you have not already used it. There is nothing required from you
at this time, and we will be in touch with more details on how the
replacement will be updated on your account.

If your Travel Credit(s) has already expired and you are looking for
replacement credit(s) to use right now for your travel arrangements,
please call the number on the back of your Card and select the option
for Travel.

Royal Jordanian Airlines will be adding service to
Toronto starting this June. The city will be added on as an extension
from the airline’s current service from Amman to Montreal and will
operate up to 3x per week. Royal Jordanian does have their own frequent flyer program called Royal Club which we have covered on Rewards Canada before albeit very scarcely! As the airline is part of the oneworld Alliance I think many of our readers will most likely earn and burn from one of the other airline program if they are flying on RJ (Source OMAAT)
