It’s nice to see Scotia bring back this offer seeing how most of this card’s competitors have a had an increased welcome bonus consistently in place. When you apply for and are approved for the Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite Card you’ll receive 10% cash back on all purchases up to $200 cash back in the first three
months ($2,000 in spending) Not only that but they will waive the first year annual fee of
$120 on the primary card and if you grab supplementary cards they’ll
waive the $50 fee on those as well.
After the first three months your earn rate will return to the standard 4% on eligible recurring bill payments and grocery store purchases, 2% on eligible gas station and daily transit purchases and 1% cash back on all other eligible everyday purchases and with the annual fee waived in the first year it won’t cost you anything to give this card a shot. Remember your cash back reward gets paid out in November so you’ll want to wait until then to cancel this card if so chose to. This offer is valid for applications made up until February 28, 2022.
