We’ve now seen several banks offer incentives for referring friends and family to their card products, with American Express being the most notable and now TD is in the referral game. Launching today, TD has a limited time offer whereby if you have a TD card you can refer friends and family to get a TD credit card and you’ll receive a $100 e-gift card for each successful application up to three times.
This offer is available until May 29, 2022 and my guess is if this limited time refer a friend offer is successful for TD we’ll see it return in the future. TD states there is a wide selection of $100 e-gift cards you’ll be able to choose from including Amazon, Uber Eats and Sobeys.

Also if you don’t currently have a TD card but have been considering one and more so considering two, ie one for yourself and one for your partner/spouse/player 2 you should have enough time to apply for one card right now and then refer your partner/spouse/player 2 once you get your card and have it activated. Ideally you’d probably want to apply during January to provide ample time to get approved (sometimes TD needs you to go in branch to complete approvals), activate your card and then refer.

If you currently are a TD credit cardholder then you can start the referrals right away. Simply go to the TD Refer a Friend page and complete the process to receive your referral link that you can share with friends and family.
The process is simple:
- Login with your EasyWeb credentials – Click the ‘Get my referral link’ button and login with your EasyWeb username or access card number.
- Confirm your personal information – Once you verify your information and submit the form, you’ll get the referral link right away. We’ll also send it in an email.
- Start referring – Share your referral link with friends and family. They can use this link to apply online for an eligible TD Credit Card.
- And upon completion of a successful referral you’ll receive an email from UGO Mobile Solutions (a division of TD) with instructions on how to redeem your gift card reward.
