November 8 Update: Best Western extending status for those who hit a new elite level in 2021, Emirates Vacations launches in Canada & another online shopping bonus

Here’s your Rewards Canada Daily update! Your daily dose (or near
daily dose) of loyalty program, credit card and travel news, bonuses,
deals and more. This update is brought to you by the HSBC World Elite Mastercard which
is currently offering a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 bonus points
worth $500, has no foreign transaction fees and no annual fee in the
first year! 

 Best Western Rewards is the next hotel chain to
offer extensions to their elite status members albeit a modified one.
This extension is only for those who have reached a new elite level
during 2021. The program has also announced they will be keeping lower
requirements to achieve status in the new year. Click here to learn more.

Elite members who reach a new Elite tier level in 2021 will maintain their Elite status through March 31, 2023, without needing to fulfill the necessary qualifications.

As we head into the new year, our BWR Elite Status requirements will
continue to be set lower than our pre-pandemic levels, giving our BWR
members the chance to earn even more BWR points with fewer stays.

Emirates Vacations has launched here in Canada – you
can now buy flight+hotel vacation packages to numerous Emirates
destinations including Dubai, the Maldives and other great spots in the
Middle East and Indian Ocean. You can earn and redeem Emirates Skywards
