Fairmont Hotels is brand that definitely offers something for everyone. You can stay at some of their iconic locations in Canada for a couple of hundred dollars a night or less and on the complete other end of the spectrum you can have stays that are in the five figures. That other end of the spectrum is highlighted with their newly released Grandest of Escapes luxurious experiences. What are the Grandest of Escapes and how much do they cost? Read on to find out!

I decided to check out what these Grandest Escapes offered at some Fairmont’s famous hotels here in Canada.

The Grandest Escape at Fairmont Banff Springs includes the following:

That’s a pretty impressive experience! The Royal Suite is the two level 1,500 square foot crown jewel of the hotel, food and beverage and you have a helicopter tour and $1,000 worth of winter clothing? Wow! If you’re interested this package starts at $17,000 CAN based on a two-night stay, with double occupancy in the Royal Suite. This package is available until Dec 31, 2021.

Grandest Feelings in Nature. That’s the package at Quebec resort almost smack dab in between Ottawa and Montreal. Here’s what the Grandest Feelings in Nature package provides:
- Luxurious accommodation in the Louis-Joseph Suite
- Welcome amenity and dessert wine delivered to the suite at arrival
- Bottle of Champagne delivered to the suite at arrival
- Gastronomic dinner and a bottle of wine served in the suite
- Gastronomic breakfast served in the suite
- Gratuities on meals
- 60-minute relaxation massage for two in the spa’s couples suite
This is the most affordable of the packages, starting at $2,500 per night for double occupancy and is the package about feeling. No helicopter tours, hikes or any of that. This one is about relaxing and enjoying some great food. Oh and a nice massage too. This package is available until December 22, 2022.

Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver
This package at the Fairmont Waterfront has actually been around for a couple of years and perhaps is the inspiration for some of the other offers. The Grandest of Feelings: SKY is the Limit package provides the following
- 50 minute private helicopter flight for 2 people
- 30 minute backcountry landing
- Picnic basket lunch for 2 people
- One night’s accommodation in a Fairmont room
This is one of those offers that is great even for just a one night stay as you could arrive at the hotel, enjoy your stay and the area around the Waterfront and the next day head off on your helicopter tour and picnic! This offer is available year round from the hotel. You may have to call the hotel for this one as I couldn’t find availability for it online.

The Fairmont Chateau Laurier’s package entitled The Grandest of Feelings offers the following:

What an experience! Here you get to stay in the same suite that the famous photographer Yousuf Karsh lived in for 19 years. The suite has been newly renovated but retains many of his portraits that were donated by his wife. This package is $7000 CAD per night, based on double occupancy in the Karsh Suite and is available until December 30, 2021

The Royal York’s package is about the bling and showing off to your friends or colleagues. The hotel’s Revel in Opulence package provides the following:

Here you stay in one of the hotel’s best suites, the Royal York Suite, for you and a guest. But it’s the rest where the show really goes on and that’s a private cocktail reception and dining experience for you, your guest and eight friends or colleagues! This package is available for stays until December 31 and starts at $55,000 for 4 nights, based on double occupancy for the Royal York Suite. You can also choose to upgrade your stay to the Legacy Crown Suite for an additional $40,000 for those four nights.

If you have a lot of friends, family and/or acquaintances this is the package for you. The Fairmont Palliser’s Grandest of Feeling Iconic Grandeur package takes the cake for hosting a lot of people. Here’s what the Iconic Grandeur package offers:
- A two-night buy-out of Fairmont Gold, up to 30 people
- Includes
exclusive access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge with two (2) Breakfasts,
one (1) Afternoon Tea, All day canapés and hors d’oeuvres for your
guests
- Includes
- Iconic train excursion to Banff aboard Royal Canadian Pacific for up to 30 people
- Cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres and Dinner aboard the train, up to 30 people.
You get the entire Fairmont Gold floor to yourself – well you and however many of up to 30 guests you would like to entertain for two nights. Then you get a train ride to Banff and back for the entire crew. If you want to shell out $60,000 to entertain 30 people this is the package for you. Or if you can convince a group of 30 people to pay $2,000 each you can also do this package. This package is available until May 31, 2022.

Wrapping it up
These are some pretty amazing once in a lifetime experiences that Fairmont Hotels are offering across Canada! Now I’ll have to go look at what the offers are like at some of the Fairmont Hotels around the world since the Grandest Escapes is a global initiative. I do leave this post with one question though, do you get to earn ALL Accor Live Limitless points on these packages? If so, you could rack up a healthy amount since they award anywhere from 25 to 44 points per 10EUR spent. A Diamond member booking the package at the Chateau Lake Louise would earn over a 122,000 points worth over 2400 EUR if the entire amount is eligible to earn points:
And I wonder if those stays would earn bonus points from offers like the current 3x points in the Americas? That would be a lot of points!
