Offer details:
2,500 Bonus Bonvoy Points per stay at the Delta Hotels Dartmouth. Click here for more details and to book this offer. Valid for stays until Dec 31, 21
Note: The offer page states bonus is per stay while room rate details states bonus is per night. We have not confirmed which it is. If you are planning on staying more than one night I would go in expecting to only earn 2,500 bonus points and if you happen to earn the bonus for additional nights I would consider it a Christmas bonus!.
Here is the bonus points rate in action for a one night stay on November 12:
As you can see the bonus points rate prices the same as the best flexible rate but is $7 more than the Member Flexible Rate. Currently we value Marriott Bonvoy Points at 1 cent a piece (This may change in 2022 when they move to dynamic pricing) which puts the 2,500 points at a value of $25. So you do come out ahead with this bonus points rate. Even if the change in value points is extremely drastic come 2022, say half of what it is now these points would be worth $12.50. I don’t think it will be that bad so overall I think this is a good bonus point package to be considered. And as I have always said when it comes to programs moving to dynamic rewards, there is recourse you can take, one is to walk to another hotel chain and loyalty program or if you are heavily invested in said program, in this case Marriott Bonvoy, one course of action to counter potential devaluation is to earn even more points via bonuses like this.
If you are planning on booking this hotel or any other Marriott for that matter don’t forget to be pay for the stay with your Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card or your Marriott Bonvoy™ Business American Express® Card to earn 5 points per dollar spent at the hotels.
