Time sure seems to be flying by as we are already back into the
Christmas shopping season! This is just a reminder that even as
Canadians we can earn points and miles via U.S. and other non-Canadian
online shopping malls when you shop at retailers outside of Canada.
What reminded me to remind you is that yesterday I made a purchase with
Anthropologie for some Christmas gifts. Now, Anthropologie is a
partner with AIR MILES Shops and the Aeroplan eStore but they are also
partnered with most U.S. airlines so I chose to use Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.
I almost forgot to do this as I had everything ready to check out so I
actually closed the browser tab with Anthropologie, went to Mileage Plan
Shopping, logged in and clicked on Anthropologie and voila everything
was there in my cart and I completed the order! I knew it was successful
as Mileage Plan shopping sent me an email within a couple of hours
saying the purchase was being tracked! Also, the items I ordered were
not available for shipping to Canada so I am having them shipped to
Stackry which has now become our U.S. forwarder of choice as they are
super fast to turn packages around and have them sent out.

As they don’t fly to Canada (just yet) and don’t have any significant
