Members of IHG Rewards can now register for this offer that provide up to 3x points for stays between October 1 and December 31, 2021. The catch is that to earn 3x points you’ll have stay three times, that is on your first stay there is no bonus, your second stay will 2x points and then from your third stay on you will earn the 3x points. If you have a lot of IHG stays planned then this isn’t too bad of promotion, especially if you are staying a pricier hotels as offers where it is 2x and 3x are most rewarding when you pay more for a stay. However for some this offer may not even be on the radar since this is the only major hotel chain not offering a bonus on your first stay – all the other’s systemwide promos award some sort of bonus even on the first stay.
