A correction for our Daily Update post from yesterday – American Express has reached out to us to let us know the American Express Gold Rewards Card
IS NOT being discontinued. We’ll provide more details as soon as we can
about this news. You will notice however that it will be removed from
the Rewards Canada site later this week but it will return in the near
future!

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the HSBC Rewards to British Airways transfer bonus we posted about yesterday.
We saw this offer come up on Reddit late last week but reached out to
HSBC ourselves to confirm the details of the offer since there was
nothing on the HSBC website. Once we received the confirmation and
supporting documents from HSBC we went ahead with our post. Despite this
confirmation it appears a lot of HSBC’s customer service agents aren’t
even aware of the offer nor has there been anything posted on their
website – so no wonder there is confusion! HSBC told us they promoted
the offer via a mail out to customers who have eligible cards and we
