For nearly nine months now we’ve provided an abundance of coverage on Fairmont Hotels’ Stay Close offer. It has been one of the best hotel promotions to emerge during the pandemic and this is a reminder that there are only two weeks left to book the current version of it.
The offer is works like this: you book two nights at any
participating Fairmont or Accor Hotel in Canada, the U.S., Barbados and
Bermuda and the rate per night will be halved essentially giving you one night free! You also have the option
of converting a 2 night booking into a one night two room booking whereby
you get that second room free. Bookings must be made by March 15
for stays until June 30, 2021. Now if the past is any indication the March 15th deadline date may be extended for
some of the hotels and/or we’ll see different hotels come on board for
the offer with different booking dates but so far we have not seen this happen. There are actually 12 Fairmont Hotels in Canada participating (it was 11 back in January), 11 Fairmont & Swissotel hotels in the U.S.
and 1 Fairmont hotel in each Barbados and Bermuda. There is also an Accor Hotels version of the offer which I discussed on our global website with only one non-Fairmont hotel in Canada that is participating and that is the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile.
Here’s a
quick look at how this promotion’s rates stack up against others at the
iconic Fairmont Tremblant for two night stay for April 8-10:
As you can see the Stay Close offer is $184.50 per night (plus
taxes/fees) which is exactly 50% off the daily rate of $369 per night.
The next closest rate offer is the book now and save offer which is over $87 more per night.
Each hotel participating may have black out dates for the
promotion and may not offer the nights until June, for example the Fairmont Banff Springs has April 2-4
blacked out and you can only book the offer here for stays until May 13. You can check those dates by clicking on the hotel of your

A fully refundable deposit is required when you do book (check the
cancellation policy as it can vary from 24 hours to 7 days prior)
This deal doesn’t end there however. Fairmont’s loyalty program ALL (Accor
Live Limitless) is offering Double Points for all stays in North
America (and Central America) until June 30 (you must book by March 31, 21)

all! ALL is also awarding double elite status points and elite status
nights for all stays completed in 2021.
