Long time Rewards Canada reader Harry B. pointed out to us that the new Shell Go+ AIR MILES initiative that we detailed on Monday
had one negative change which of course isn’t pointed out in the
marketing of the partnership. It appears that you can no longer earn AIR
MILES on lottery purchases at Shell. Harry mentioned he’ll shift to
buying lottery tickets at Petro-Canada where they still award
Petro-Points on those purchases (and More Rewards points until the end
of the month). You may recall we had a post from 2017 detailing how buying lotto tickets at Petro-Canada could net you 4% or higher return.

Rexall is offering 50,000 bonus points ($20 in
value) when you spend $75 or more on comsetics, skin care, nail care,
hair care and hair colour products on Thursday July 16.


Airline Schedule Updates

A summary Canadian operations based on data from RoutesOnline and other
sources. Remember that many of these route plans are subject to change
and right now they are changing frequently!

Air France is bumping up their fligths from Canada.
As of today they will be offering 10 flights per week between Montreal
and Paris (increasing to 12 in September) and 3x weekly from Toronto to
Paris (up to 5 in September) (Source RoutesOnline)

B.C.’s Central Mountain Air resumed limited
services last week out of Prince George and their latest scheduel update
shows three more routes comig online on September 14. Those routes are
Edmonton-High Level, Prince George-Edmonton and Prince George-Ft.

Emirates has already been flying 5x per week
between Toronto and Dubai and as of August 1st those flights are set to
