In addition to the big news of Aeroplan launching their first buy miles bonus they announced in the email to us that until the end of May members who use their CIBC or American Express Aeroplan co-branded credit cards will earn an additional 5 miles per dollar spent. This is on top of the current Mother’s Day bonus of up to 7x miles at select retailers.
Here is what Aeroplan provided to us:
Earn 5 extra miles per $1 spent for purchases via the Aeroplan eStore when using your CIBC® Aeroplan® Credit Card or American Express® AeroplanPlus® Card. These bonus miles are in addition to the miles a member would regularly earn for using their card at checkout.
This offer runs until May 31 and there is no set landing page for the credit card bonus or mention of it on the Travel at Home page or on the eStore but be sure this is straight from Aeroplan so the offer is valid. Just note as well that TD Aeroplan co-branded cards are not included in this offer.
