For the Summer 2019 season WestJet will be placing a new Boeing 787
Dreamliner on their Vancouver to London Gatwick route. This will
complement that type of plane flying to London Gatwick from Calgary and
as of this coming Wednesday, Toronto. The Vancouver route will return on
April 26 according to Routesonline and will be bumped from this this
past summer’s 6 days per week service to daily service.
WestJet’s Boeing 787 aircraft feature three class of service Economy, Premium Economy and Business. The 16 seat Business Class cabin features lie flat seats, on demand dining and much more. Not only does the plane fly routes like Calgary and Toronto to London but it will also be used for Calgary to Maui during this upcoming winter season and you can occasionally fly it between Calgary and Toronto.
