Hertz is making some changes to its Gold Plus Rewards loyalty
program. Overall it looks to be worse for most members outside of
increased points earning rates for Five Star and President Circle
members. The negatives included increased requirement to reach Five Star
status (although you can get that free with the Platinum Card from American Express), points expiration dropping from 24 months of inactivity to 18, elimination of activation bonuses and more. You can read more about all the changes here.
