As you know a few months ago we let you know about the discontinuation of Delta SkyMiles® credit cards from Capital One®
. At the time it was limited to no longer accepting new applications
but now it is official that even existing cardholders will have their
cards discontinued as of Oct 20. Several of our readers have forwarded
the following to us:
“IT’S BEEN A GREAT RIDE. OUR CAPITAL ONE PARTNERSHIP IS ENDING. BUT
YOU’LL KEEP YOUR MILES. If you are a current Delta SkyMiles MasterCard
holder, we want you to know that we will be ending our agreement with
Capital One. As of October 20, 2015, you will no longer be able to use
your card. The good news is, all miles you have earned are safe and will
never expire.We appreciate your continued support as we actively look for new
partnerships to best serve you. If you have any questions about your
SkyMiles account,
please call 1-800-323-2323 or visit www.delta.com/myskymiles.”
