RBC has brought back the increased sign up bonus of 15,000 miles for the Cathay Pacific Asia Miles Platinum Card and most times it is a limited time offer although with this iteration we cannot find an expiry date on it. Over the years the card has only offered a 5,000 to 10,000
Asia Mile sign up bonus as its standard offer but we have once seen a targeted offer for 20,000 on but in most cases when they offer an increased sign up bonus it is this 15,000 miles offer. u

- 1 Asia Mile for every CAD1 spent on purchases
- Double Asia Miles when purchasing Cathay Pacific tickets online at www.cathapacific.com
- 2 Asia Miles for every HKD5 spent on inflight purchases
- Comprehensive insurance, including 31-day Out of Country/Province Emergency Medical Insurance
This card is really only good for those people who are frequent Cathay
Pacific flyers or oneworld airline flyers who credit their mileage to
the Asia Miles program. Even though the 15,000 Miles isn’t that much it
is better than the basic sign up bonus and you should take advantage of
it if this card is right for you. Note that the card has a hefty $150 annual fee that isn’t waived in the first year.
