The earn IHG Rewards
Club points earning rate for stays at InterContinental Hotels
& Resorts outside of the America’s will be changing on July 1st. The
new rate will be 10 points per US$1 spent, which is much better than
the current 2,000 per stay. Why is it better? Most InterContinental
Hotels will cost you well above $200 per night which means you should be
able to earn many more points with this new earning structure.
To the surprise of many people Lufthansa’s Miles & More program
will be discontuing their buy miles option. A very popular feature of
many programs nowadays is to be able to sell miles or points to their
members and it tends to be quite profitable for many of them. It could
be the opposite for Miles & More hence the removal of this option.

WestJet‘s first foray into Europe must be doing well as
they have extended their summer season run between St. John’s and
Dublin to October 24th from the previously planned end date of October
