TAP Air Portugal’s Black Friday sale launched today which offers really low economy class and business class fares out of Toronto and Montreal. Economy Class tickets to Lisbon from Toronto are coming in under $450 for the most basic fare but what is really noteworthy are the business class fares running in the $1600s for round trip flights!

Economy Class
Here is an example of an economy class booking in their discount fare class (the cheapest bare bones fare) between Toronto and Lisbon. I had a hard time finding the $389 fares but this one isn’t too far off:
It comes in at $468.71 including all taxes and fees. This fare only includes your carry on bag and nothing else. Should you want to check luggage I suggest going for the next fare up as it ends up being cheaper than going with the discount fare and adding the baggage option.
Business Class
Now this is where we are talking business – literally. The business class fares with this sale are rock bottom. Depending on when you fly, you’ll be on TAP’s Airbus A330 or their A321Neo. Both aircraft feature lay flat business class seats and full business class service. And to get it for just over $1600? That’s amazing.
Here’s an example, Toronto to Porto next September for $1678 :
Earning Points/Miles
You can choose to credit these flights to TAP’s own Miles&Go program or as the airline is a Star Alliance partner you can credit them to Air Canada Aeroplan or any other airline in the alliance for that matter.
