If you are travelling to British Columbia in July and don’t have your accommodations booked yet you could consider staying at Prestige Hotels & Resorts to score some bonus points along with a statement credit.
Prestige Hotels & Resorts is a British Columbia based hotel chain with 16 locations across the province. The chain has their own loyalty program called Prestige Rewards however ten of those locations are also part of the WorldHotels collection and it is with the latter where you can score the bonus points and earn the statement credit.

The 3 nights do not have to be consecutive and the bonus can be earned up to 2 times per member (20,000 bonus points max. per member). Earn a $150 statement credit with American Express when you spend $750 or more with WorldHotels
In addition to the bonus points you can earn with WorldHotels Rewards, you can earn a statement credit with American Express Amex Offers if you have an American Express Card. You’ll need to log in to your online account or via the app to see if the offer is available on any of your Amex cards and then register for it before booking your stay. The offer is also open to Scotiabank issued Amex Cards.

Example of a 3 night stay that earns both offers
While you don’t have to complete one 3 night stay to earn the bonus points or the statement credit, I figured for simplicity I would show a single three night stay that would meet the criteria to earn both of the offers.
This is a three night stay from July 16 to 19 at the Prestige Beach House Kelowna:
Kelowna + summertime equals pricey hotel rooms so three nights here, even with a pre-paid multiple night discount it works out to nearly $1,000! Other rates like CAA, best flexible etc. are even higher. As it is a three night stay it meets the requirement to earn the 10,000 bonus WorldHotels Rewards points and since it is above $750 it also meets the requirement to receive the $150 statement credit. All told it’s a rebate of about $225, if not more, but it will depend on the value you get for the points when you redeem them (I used a value of 0.5 cents US$ in determining the minimum)
