It’s been a minute since we saw some action in the RC Arena but that all changed yesterday when the latest Clash of the Credit Cards took place between the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Cardand the TD First Class Visa Infinite Card! Air Canada Vacations packages now count towards SQD Elite Status earning

Towards the end of August Air Canada updated the program whereby a portion of Air Canada Vacations purchases now count towards your annual SQD accumulation:

Earn 25% Status Qualifying Dollars (SQD) based on the total cost of the vacation package per member, including taxes and fees.
Valid on bookings made as of August 28, 2023 12:00 am EST of an eligible Vacation Package completed by an Aeroplan Member.
An eligible Air Canada Vacations package refers to a vacation package consisting of a flight-inclusive vacation package or a Flight & Cruise package with travel completed by the Aeroplan Member.

Join Fiji Airways Tabua Club for dining, cruise and other discounts in Fiji

It has been nearly a year since Fiji Airways started flying from Vancouver and while most points & miles enthusiasts are using Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan to earn and redeem points for these flights it is still a good idea to join Fiji Airway’s own program called Tabua Club. If you are travelling to Fiji (even if it is not on Fiji Airways) you can enjoy dining and cruise discounts in Fiji simply by being a member of Tabua Club. Here are examples of some the discounts you’ll receive by showing your Tabua Club membership card:

10% discount on food and beverage at any one of the Jacks of Fiji restaurants
10% discount when dining at Tanoa International Nadi and Tanoa Plaza Suva
Captain Cook Cruises – 10% Discount on the Sunset Dinner Cruise
