Canadian Platinum Cards will continue to receive unlimited access to Delta Sky Club lounges

Yesterday we provided details of the big changes coming the Delta SkyMiles program and changes to accessing to their Sky Club Lounges. One of those changes publsihed was the limitation of only six visits per year for Platinum Card from American Express cardmembers unless they spend $75,000 annually on their cards. On Delta’s site there was no mention whether this new rule is solely for U.S. issued cards or for all Platinum cardmembers globally.

The good news is Rewards Canada has received confirmation that Canadian Platinum Card from American Express cardmembers WILL NOT be subject to these same rules. We will continue to receive unlimited access to SkyClub lounges at no charge for the cardmember who is travelling with Delta.
