New RBC Offers from Canon, Guess & more!
I completed the next update to our list of RBC Offers with the following four offers. The offers from Dragon and South St. Burger had their end dates extended.
I also noticed they have removed the PetSmart offer that was to be in place until November 1. I personally experienced a lot of issues with it and am still awaiting some credits so perhaps they decided to pull it early. I ‘m glad I took screenshots of the offer as I foresee a struggle to get those credits owed to me.
Canon
From now until November 23, 2023, get a $50 statement credit on eligible spend of $500 or more at Canon Shop Canada online https://shop.canon.ca/en_ca/ when you pay with your eligible RBC credit card(s).* Simply load this offer before you shop. Limit of 1 offer per client.
Guess
From now until March 14, 2024, get a 10% statement credit (up to a max of $10 per transaction) on eligible spend of $50 or more at Guess, Guess Factory & Guess by Marciano in store when you pay with your eligible RBC debit or credit card(s).* Simply load this offer before you shop.
La Vie en Rose
From now until January 31, 2024, get a 20% statement credit (up to a max of $30 per transaction) on eligible spend of $125 or more at La Vie en Rose in store or online when you pay with your eligible RBC debit or credit card(s).* Simply load this offer before you shop.
Petro-Canada
Spend $500 or more at Petro-Canada on fuel, car washes, or convenience store purchases in November and you will earn 5,000 bonus Petro-Points when you pay with your linked RBC debit or credit card.
Be sure to login to your RBC account right away to load these offers or get the promo codes if required. These offers have also been added to our official Guide to RBC Royal Bank ‘RBC Offers’
Personally I received these offers on the WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard. Most if not all should also be available for RBC’s most popular card the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card and other RBC cards.
Delta revises some previously announced SkyMiles program changes amid massive backlash
About a month ago Delta announced several negative changes to their SkyMiles programs as well rules regarding accessing their SkyClub lounges. The backlash to the changes was huge – bigger than we have seen in a long time when it comes to program devaluations. With a lot of unhappy customers Delta has re-evaluated these changes and some small tweeks to their previously announced changes. Overall the changes are still bad but just not as bad now. The key changes for us Canadians are as follows:
Earning Delta SkyMiles Medallion status will require
- 5,000 MQD for Silver instead of 6,000
- 10,000 MQD for Gold instead of 12,000
- 15,000 MQD for Platinum instead of 18,000
- 28,000 MQD for Diamond instead of 35,000
SkyClub Lounge access (This only affects Canadians who hold U.S. issued Amex cards)
- American Express Delta Reserve will receive 15 visits up from 10.
- American Express Platinum will receive 10 visits up from 6.
- The visits will also now be counted by ‘day’ rather than by ‘entry’ so if you are in multiple airports during a 24 hour period you can visit multiple SkyClub lounges and those will only count as one visit.
As confirmed by Amex to RWRDS Canada, Canadian issued Platinum Cards were unaffected by any of the changes and they will continue to receive unlimited SkyClub Lounge access (Except for travel on Basic Economy fares)
