Two new Amex Offers for Ivanhoe Cambridge Shopping gift cards and Allen Edmonds
Two new Amex Offers came out today including the very popular and lucrative credit for buying gift cards to use at Ivanhoe Cambridge shopping malls.
Spend at least $200 in qualifying gift card purchases using your registered Card at participating Ivanhoé Cambridge Guest Services kiosks or at www.shopping.ca by 31/12/2023 and earn a one-time $30 statement credit. Registration cap applies. Terms apply.

Personally I received these offers on The Platinum Card from American Express but you may receive them on a different card. These are also available to holders of Scotiabank American Express Cards who simply need to register for the offer here.
IHG Hotels updates opening dates of several new Canadian hotels
As a follow up to our annual IHG Hotels & Resorts New Hotel Openings in Canada for 2023 post from earlier this year we have now learned the opening dates of three those hotels that previously were only “To be confirmed”. All three of these hotels are in Ontario and are opening over the next two months:
- Staybridge Suites Port Elgin
Slated opening: October 31, 2023
- Candlewood Suites Collingwood ON
Slated opening: November 21, 2023
- Holiday Inn Express & Suites – St. Thomas
Slated opening: December 1, 2023

Star Alliance opens new lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
Star Alliance which Air Canada was a founding member of has opened a new business class lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. This is the alliance’s second lounge at CDG and notably beyond standard Star Alliance admittance rules Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Club members (This is Air Canada’s lounge membership that you can buy) can also access the lounge.
