Shoppers Drug Mart PC Optimum Bonus Redemption Event
The Shoppers Drug Mart PC Optimum Redemption event has returned! There is a new offer in place until May 17, 2023 offering up to an extra $100 in value for your points redemption.
The redemption bonuses of the May 2023 event are as follows:
- Redeem 50,000 points and get up to $65 off ($15 extra)
- Redeem 100,000 points and get up to $140 off ($40 extra)
- Redeem 200,000 points and get up to $300 off ($100 extra)

Chase’s first airport lounge in the U.S. will open on May 16
South of the border Chase will be opening their first domestic lounge on May 16. The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Boston Logan International Airport will be accesible to Canadian Priority Pass members which several credit cards in Canada still provide (Check out our guide to business class lounge access) however the rules of entry will be different than most lounges you can access with Priority Pass.
Priority Pass members without a Sapphire Reserve card will be able to enter a Sapphire Lounge by The Club location one time at no cost per calendar year and will be charged an entry fee upon each subsequent visit to any location within the Sapphire Lounge by The Club network. This is something new that any and all Priority Pass members can get one free visit. After that though, all Priority Pass members, even those with the top level membrship from the Platinum Card will have to pay a hefty fee to access the lounge
Members can access the lounge once per calendar year using an allocated visit entitlement (both inclusive and Pay As You Go) subject to availability. Additional visits over and above the 1 calendar year, and any guest visits, will be charged a preferential entry fee of US$75 per person, per visit, payable to the lounge.
Of course if you have a U.S. issued Chase Sapphire Reserve card you’ll receive unlimited complimentary access for yourself and up to two guests.
The Boston Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club, located in the Terminal B to C Connector, between gates B40 and B39, will be open starting at 5 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 16. Daily hours for the Boston location are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET.

WestJet adding non-stop Winnipeg to Atlanta flights
Exciting news for our readers in Manitoba! After the success of WestJet’s new non-stop Winnipeg to Los Angeles flight the airline will be adding non-stop flights to Atlanta!
The new route will launch on September 6 and will operate 5x weekly. The flight will provide easy connections to over 50 destinations beyond Atlanta with WestJet’s partner Delta Airlines.
