Hilton Honors Gold Elite Status added to the Business Platinum Card from American Express
Great news for those of you who hold the Business Platinum Card from American Express! The issuer has now added free Hilton Honors Gold Elite status as a benefit. This has been a long standing benefit on the consumer version of the Platinum Card but was not part of the Business Card’s benefits package. The latter only provided Marriott status until now. If you do have this card (or are planning on getting it – it is offering 90,000 bonus points right now!) make sure to log into your account and go to the Platinum benefits section to add your Hilton Honors number and you should receive the status upgrade within a few weeks. The key benefits of Hilton Gold Elite status are 80% bonus points on all Hilton stays, Space available room upgrades and Daily Food & Beverage Credit (U.S. hotels only) or Continental Breakfast (non-U.S. hotels). Check out Channel Tres at the W Toronto on April 6!
One of my favourite artists will be performing in Toronto on April 6! If you happen to be in YYZ on that date check out the return of live music to W Living Rooms at W Hotels in North America. The launch of W PRESENTS (a live electronic showcase series) takes place at the W Toronto on April 6th with Channel Tres. Channel Tres blends rap with electronic music to create some amazing tracks and in some ways he’s brought back ‘Hip House”…. well at least that’s what we called it in the late 80s and early 90s (anybody remember Doug Lazy?)
