Marriot Bonvoy Moments 1 Point Drop
Marriott Bonvoy is introducing new 1 Point Drop rewards in their Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform! That’s right all you’ll need is 1 point to be able to redeem for these select Moments options.
The very first 1 Point Drop is a Dos Hombres Mezcal Tasting Event with their co-founders Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston at the Downtown L.A. Proper Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels on September 7, 2023. There will be 10 packages available at 1 point each. These will be available on June 14 at 12pm ET. I will assume it is going to be a fight to get one of these packages as they are first come first serve so be sure to set a calendar reminder if this drop interests you! Flights, accommodations, expenses etc are not included.

Marriott Bonvoy has put some rules in place the 1 Point Drops in an attempt to keep them as fair as possible. The primary rule is that a member can only redeem for a 1 Point Drop or 1 Point Auction once per calendar year. So if you are lucky enough to get in on this one you will not be able to redeem for another one until 2024.
While on the topic of 1 Points drops – Virgin Australia will also be offering 1 Point Rewards with their Velocity program for this month! If you have Velocity points you can try to get flights and other rewards for only 1 point! Check those out here.

On this day in 2014 we had a post covering the last day of an increased welcome bonus of 24,000 points on the mbna Choice Privileges Mastercard. Those 24,000 points were enough for up to 3 free nights with the program. Unfortunately that card is long gone as are all other hotel cards in Canada except for the Marriott cards!
