IHG’s summer bonus points promotion starts today

IHG One Rewards 2,000 points for 2 nights or 10,000 points for 4 nights completed officially starts today. Chances are you may have registered for it when we posted the details several weeks ago but if not be sure to register right away as stays as of today count towards the bonus. IHG to offer Apple AirPlay

Staying with IHG Hotels & Resorts, they have announced a new collaboration with Apple that will see IHG become the first hospitality company to offer Apple’s AirPlay in their rooms. The service will provide “the ability to seamlessly and securely share content from their iPhone or iPad to their guest room TV” and will be seen at select IHG Hotels before the end of the year. Once AirPlay is available in hotels, guests will simply scan a QR code unique to the TV in their room to easily enjoy a personalized entertainment experience on the TV. Built with a foundation of privacy and security, AirPlay allows guests to stream, control, and share videos, photos, music, and more from their iPhone or iPad to the big screen, so they can watch popular streaming services*, including Apple TV+, rehearse presentations, enjoy vacation photos, and more, in the comfort of their hotel room.
