Montreal Transborder Business Class Lounge Update
In January 2020 we posted details of a proposed new business class lounge in the Transborder section of Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport. Of course, shortly thereafter the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world and the lounge which was set to open late in 2020 was delayed. We reached out to ADMTL for any updates and they provided the following to Rewards Canada:
A temporary lounge is planned to open in the US pier while waiting for the permanent to build. The temporary lounge is scheduled for the end of 2023. The permanent lounge is planned for 2024-2025.
As you can see hopefully travellers who do not have access to Air Canada’s Maple Leaf lounge will be able to enjoy some sort of lounge access by the end of this year and then have a permanent option in a couple of years. There are no details yet as to who will operate this lounge but we can safely assume access should be avaialble via DragonPass and/or Priorty Pass.
