AIR MILES partners with Neo Financial

File this one under “I did not see that coming” as Neo Financial and AIR MILES have become partners. This is a very surprising move that has me scratching my head seeing that AIR MILES’ biggest partner is BMO and that’s who this new Fintech company is competing with and trying to disrupt! So now AIR MILES has multiple financial partners in American Express, BMO and Wealthsimple.

This newest partnership sees AIR MILES members being able to earn 1,000 miles when closing a mortgage with Neo. They also make mention that the “partnership between AIR MILES and Neo Financial opens a variety of opportunities for collectors to earn Miles on their money and create new value streams for collectors.” I can’t see them offering AIR MILES on Neo credit cards with BMO and Amex already offering cards but perhaps we’ll see earning opportunities with Neo Money and Neo Invest.
